PLEASE NOTE! – Below you will find some practical tips for using the pestle, so that it lasts as long and as well as possible.
The transparent rubber of the pestle is very delicate. Be careful when handling the pestle. Do not press your fingernails into it, as you can easily damage the rubber. Also be careful when pulling out the rubber (to attach it to the handle), to avoid dents.
DO NOT attempt to prepare the tamper before use – it will work as soon as you take it out of the bag and remove the protective cap.
DO NOT clean with acetone or rub with a polishing block! This also applies to the stem itself - rubbing with acetone can dull the plastic surface (reducing visibility) or even crack it. Customer damaged stampers will not be replaced. The recommended method to clean the stamper is to use masking tape (to peel off the design residue) or a clothes roller (you need to “dab” the design residue onto the roller) so that the stamper can serve us for many years!
