In addition, you can extend your natural nail plate to a limited extent with a rubber base. Some rubber coatings make it possible to extend your natural nails up to 5mm.

How many layers of rubber base?
With a rubber base coat you can build up your nails, that's why usually 2 layers of base coat are applied. First you apply a thin layer of rubber base gel polish to create a good base. Then to build up your nails you can create a slight curve by applying a second layer of rubber base.

Extending nails with rubber base
