The standard is a primer with an acidic formula. The main ingredient is methacrylic acid. This substance will make your nail plate rougher and dry it out considerably. We recommend that you only use this primer for problematic nail plates, where the use of an acid-free primer is not sufficient. It helps people with oilier nail plates or with hormonal problems. Excessive use of this primer can cause extreme dehydration of the nail plate.

The acidic primer has a characteristic irritating odor. The fumes of the primer can cause irritation to your eyes and skin. So use the liquid carefully. Store this primer at room temperature. At low temperatures (<10°C) this primer crystallizes. When the liquid is reheated these crystals will disappear without negative effect on the functioning.

Usage

The primer Standard must be applied to a prepared nail. The nail must already be buffered and degreased with the Nail Prep. When filling the nail (growth) you only apply the primer to the natural nail. Wait until the primer has evaporated before continuing with the next steps of the manicure. After evaporation the nail plate will look very degreased.

Remember to never apply the primer to the skin and cuticles, as this can cause dryness and irritation.
