Absolutely. Thanks to its self-leveling properties , the gel flows beautifully smoothly. If you apply it accurately, virtually no filing is required, saving you a tremendous amount of time.

No, SMOOV acrylic gel is a hard gel and cannot be removed with acetone or other solvents. Due to its strong structure (which also allows for long extensions), the product must be removed by filing (with a hand file or a nail drill).

Yes, absolutely. The SMOOV line is specifically designed as the ideal solution for thin, weak, and problematic nails .

  1. Preparation: Prepare the nail plate by applying nail prep & primer.
  2. Base coat: Apply the base coat – cure for 60 sec. in a Dual LED lamp.
  3. Acrylic gel: Apply the acrylic gel – cure in a UV lamp (120 sec.) or LED lamp (60-90 sec.).
  4. File: Shape the nail.
  5. Finish: Apply color and/or topcoat – cure for 60-90 sec. in a Dual LED lamp

Because the acrylic gel is free of volatile solvents, the product wo n't dry out or evaporate in the bottle. However, be careful not to place the bottle in direct sunlight or near your UV/LED lamp, as this can cause the curing process to begin outside the lamp.

No, there's no specific base coat exclusive to the SMOOV line. You can therefore combine the liquid acrylic gel with all common base coats.

However, for best results we recommend the following:

  • Want to go completely HEMA-free? Then use our Hype Acid Base . This way, the entire treatment remains hypoallergenic.
  • Looking for extra strength? Then choose the Expert Base . It offers even stronger adhesion and stability for problematic nails.

SMOOV Acrygel isn't suitable for extreme extensions, but it's ideal for natural strengthening or extensions up to 5 mm. For extra-long nails, we recommend our classic, thicker acrylic gels in a jar.

Yes, the SMOOV line has a very safe formula. It's completely free of HEMA, di-HEMA, and TPO . These are the most common allergens in nail products, making this gel a safe choice for both stylists and clients.

Absolutely! Acrylic gel is ideal for use with Dual Forms, and although this version comes in a bottle, it remains an excellent choice for this technique. Its liquid consistency allows you to distribute the product evenly within the form for a flawless application.
