Our Hype line from Mistero Milano is completely HEMA, Di-HEMA, and TPO-free and is classified as a hard gel. Both variants share the same strong characteristics: a reduced burning sensation, self-leveling properties, and are ideal for nail extensions.
The main difference lies in the consistency and the way they are applied. The classic Hype has a firmer structure, allowing you to model the gel entirely by hand. The Hype Flow is thinner and more self-leveling, meaning the gel spreads beautifully into place almost on its own.
Whichever variant you choose, both cure to the same strong, durable, and high-quality finish.

How to apply it
Five steps for a sleek and long-lasting result.
Remove the cuticles, gently mattify the nail plate, and thoroughly degrease the nail. Then, apply our Standard Nail Prep to dehydrate the nail.
If you use the Hype Acid Base, you do not need a primer. If you choose another Base Coat from our range, apply a layer of primer first. Then, apply the Base Coat and cure it for 60 seconds under an LED lamp or 120 seconds under a UV lamp.
Apply a thin base layer with the Hype Gel of your choice. Then, apply a bead of gel to form the apex and further build or extend the nail. Cure the gel for 60–90 seconds under an LED lamp or 120 seconds under a UV lamp.
Would you like some extra color? You can apply a gel polish color on top of the Builder Gel, but this is certainly not necessary. The Builder Gel is also perfectly suited as a natural nail treatment for a natural, well-groomed look. Cure the gel polish for 60 seconds under an LED lamp or 120 seconds under a UV lamp.
Finish with a layer of Hype Top No Wipe (or another Mistero Milano top coat). Finally, cure the top coat for 60-90 seconds under the LED lamp or 120 seconds under the UV lamp.

Certainly. Thanks to its self-leveling properties, the gel flows out beautifully smooth. If you apply it accurately, almost no filing is required, which saves you a tremendous amount of time.
No, the Hype Gel is a hard builder gel and cannot be soaked off with acetone or other solvents. Due to its strong structure (which also allows for long extensions), the product must be removed by filing (using a hand file or an e-file).
On the contrary. Despite being a hard and durable product, the Hype line is known for its high level of working comfort. The gel is very easy to file, allowing you to quickly achieve the desired shape without having to apply much force.
Yes, precisely because it is heat-less (no heat spikes), it is ideal for clients with damaged or thin nails who usually cannot tolerate the lamp. In combination with the Hype Acid Base, you ensure a secure adhesion without further stressing the nail plate with aggressive primers.
Because Hype Gel is free of volatile solvents, the product will not dry out or evaporate in the jar. Of course, be sure not to place the jar in direct sunlight or near your UV/LED lamp, as the curing process could begin outside of the lamp.
Technically speaking, a separate base coat is not strictly necessary for adhesion. We have various base coats that you can use under these builder gels (such as our Expert Base). However, if you want to work completely HEMA-free? Then you can purchase the Hype Acid Base; with this, you won't even need a primer anymore.
Yes, the Hype Gel is very versatile in its application method. You can use it without any issues with Dual Forms, forms, tips, or simply on the natural nail.
Yes, due to the firmness and the control you have during application, the Hype Gel is ideal for reconstructions and corrections, such as 'lifting' nails that naturally grow downwards.
