Yes, precisely because it's heatless (no heat spike), it's ideal for clients with damaged or thin nails who normally can't tolerate the lamp. Combined with the Hype Acid Base , you ensure a secure bond without further stressing the nail plate with harsh primers.

Applying the Hype system is very simple and
efficient:

  1. Preparation: Prepare the natural nail plate (remove cuticles, mattify and degrease).
  2. Apply a thin layer of base coat. Our Expert Base is definitely recommended, but for a completely HEMA-free look, choose the Hype Acid Base (no primer needed). Buff the base coat thoroughly and cure it for 60 seconds under LED light.
  3. Apply a layer of Hype Gel and then place a small ball of gel on top to build up or extend the nail.
  4. Cure the gel in the LED lamp (60-90s) or UV lamp (120s).
  5. Remove the sticky layer, file the nail into shape and finish with your favorite color and top coat.

Because Hype Gel is free of volatile solvents, it wo n't dry out or evaporate in the jar. However, be careful not to place the jar in direct sunlight or near your UV/LED lamp, as this can cause the curing process to begin outside the lamp.

Technically, a separate base coat isn't strictly necessary for adhesion. We offer several base coats that you can use under these builder gels (such as our Expert Base). However, if you want to go completely HEMA-free , you can purchase the Hype Acid Base ; with this, you won't even need a primer.
